WSUS Site Guidance

The WSUS Wiki Site, http://wsus.editme.com, is a growing and dynamic site. Here is some advice and guidance on using this site, most useful for contributors!

This site caters for  two main types of userr:

  • WSUS Users - mainly administrators, managers, consultants, etc who need creditable and authortative informaion on WSUS and how it operates. See WSUS Site User Guidance. You do NOT have to register at this site to use the WSUS Wiki site.
  • WSUS Wiki Contributors - this includes both Software Distribution MVPs as well as WSUS Users who came to find an answer, and decided to stay. See WSUS Site Contributor Guidance. You do have to register to contribute to this site, i.e. to edit or add pages but registration is free and painless.

Both groups of users are most welcome here! The site, including the home page and the navigation bars to the left has developed somewhat organically as contributors have added content and others have improved, massaged and refactored it. So, if you like this site, or even if not, post a comment in the [WSUS Wiki Diary] page.

And if there's something you don't like here, or don't see, then why not add a note in the To Do Page page describing what it is you want done. Who knows, someone might actualy read it and do it! Alternatively, you could always just do it yourself and become a contributor!
